OK, had my S3 for a while... when ever I fold the seats forward to get stuff in and out of the back I slide the seat forward but then it wont slide back again. I have to use the lever on the bottom of the seat... is that right?!?:ermm:

Its not right dude, should pull forward mine both do. It could be the latch has come loose as normally on most 3door cars there is like a link that can come off under the seat cover.

On my old car it used to be the slide pins on the main seat bracket but i highly doubt that.

hi manc_s3 mines does this awell its a pain,,to be honest i was suprised it was not electric like the bmws...:(

1 Lift lever and fold backrest down until it locks.
2 Hold seat by backrest and push it all the way forwards.
3 Hold seat by backrest and push back.
4 Lift lever and fold the backrest back up
Seat will then return to position it was in before using easy entry function
Well thats what it says in the manual and works for me!!

thanks soot1e never read manuals so many thanks for that will give it a go tomorrow:)

You just have to, when wanting seat to go back to last position, push the backrest forward fully, then slide it back to the preset memory position, problem is most people dont push it forward enough to release it to slide back, thus wont budge.
