problem with mmi

any body else come across a problem with the mmi? today i pulled up and turned off the engine but the radio would not switch off,none of the buttons would function.started her up and drove for approx ten mins and in that time it switched off on its own 5 times.any help or ideas??

Next time it happens, try putting the key back in the ignition and taking it out again. I've had a similar thing happen a couple of times and done that and the mmi switches off after doing that. It's as if the car thinks the key is still in the ignition.
