Puzzling

Hi all
Only had my car ten days and when I collected it the voice control was working as I used it on the Nav to Enter my post code but now I get a message saying button inactive??
Any thoughts?, does it only work with the Nav? Surely it should work with the phone?, after ten days I am certain the idrive system in my previous car (4series) was far superior in every way, shame as it spoils a great car

Voice control for all but navigation is disabelled by default in convertible A3 vehicles... am guessing that’s what you have based on your avatar photo as you have not stated any of your vehicles details.
