Waiting on arrival of Q3 177tdi quattro man, with comfort pack,19'' wheels ,privacy,pan roof audi sound,sat nag in glacier, looking at a remap after run in, Which way to go, ecu map or box of tricks??

If you were looking down the Remap route the ECU would need to be removed and opened up so that it could be unlocked and then remapped. New ECUs on the CR diesels are encrypted and locked so as to combat remapping but it can be done but you need to make the decision whether or not you want the tuner to do this as its not as straight forward as you think and could possibly void your warranty.

Hmmm.... cheers for that matey,I reckon any remap may provide the squealer with an excuse to void a warranty, this is ther same I heard when i wanted to do my A5, a removal and work on the board.
