Q5 Q5 MMI Navigation Plus

I am trying to send navigation destinations from the MMI connect app on my iPhone to my 2016 Audi Q5 which has MMI plus navigation and Audi connect. I have set everything up as per Audi connect instructions. Audi connect is working, Data sim is working but destinations will not sync. Any help would be appreciated
