Q5 Q5 navigation is blocked

Can anyone help.
I have a 2011 Audi Q5. It has a message showing ‘the navigation is blocked’.

anyone help with getting the nav up and running??

Sounds like nav needs an activated map, I'd get an uptodate map which will probably need a firmware update too.

Firmware update from main dealer only?
Would it also be possible to just buy a secondhand unit with maps already on it?
