Not described as diamond cut and don’t look it to me. Extract from Audi configurator:-

21" x 8.5J ‘5-twin-spoke’ module design Audi Sport alloy wheels with inlays in matt grey with 255/40 R21 tyres

usually noted as ‘diamond cut’ if they were

They are the wheels mine has, they are not diamond cut. The wheel is silver, the dark parts are plastic inserts bolted to the rim from behind.

The dark parts are exactly how you describe, not sure why 45bvtc thinks the wheels would have to be diamond cut if damaged?
