Quattro tyre wear

Ive noticed my rear left tyre is worn badly,as though the tyres over inflated 4-5mm on edges bald in the middle.
im running 30psi allround if anything id expect a little edge wear.

Or is it just a quattro thing?

Tyre is a continental 3 or something.swapping the rears for some michellin sport3's.

Anyone else had similar?

Sounds odd to me. I've had my four new tyres all round for 10,000 miles on my Quattro now and all tyre wear is even.

Have you had four wheel laser alignment done?

I had mine done after was lowered and settled and drives lovely and no un-even wear.

Alignment should be ok if its wearing centre. Im having it done after my service monday, got them to fit the track rods,had enough of fighting lol and my hands can't take much more.
I know someone who specialise in alignment and has the hunter machine.
Everything screams over inflation but its 30 like the rest.
Maybe its the shock?

Definitely get your friend with hunter to check alignment.

It could be the shock but doubt it to be honest.
