Quick detailers

Are all these sprays much of a muchness? Should I bother spending more than the sick squid they want for this EZ gloss boss?

Some of that is crazy cheap, worth a shot just for that! It's a good point, some QD's offer very little in difference from the next. Ones that stand out are Dodo Juice Red Mist and Chemical Guys Vintage Speed Wipe. The latter being just lovely to apply for a quick high gloss finish.

Cheers hound, just been through that now. That hyrd02 stuff looks too good to be true???

I use Megs Last Touch. Flipping excellent stuff. Have tried others over the years but have always gone back to it! 6 years later now and still using it! Not massively expensive either.

Sad to say I cant stand the stuff. All the ones I've tried might be good for a quick shine at a show but I am unhappy with the dirt attracting finish it leaves.

A quick detailer is only that though. Just finishing off a clean before sealant/wax/drying depending on the clean you're doing. I think it adds a decent level of gloss between it and also helps the wax layer afterwards.
You should never just be using it to remove dirt etc as you're just scratching the paint! Would ruin any time put into the polishing stages in one go.

Gyeon Q2m cure, quick detailer awesome stuff on top a ceramic coating and the likes C1/EXO2

Last touch is great for drying the car , and smells mighty fine !

There's some great new products my friend is importing this year called Fireball - their QD is a spray on when wet and rinse off with water - insane beading. Stay tuned for those productts.

Also Fireball will be doing pro detailer only paint coatings - which I'm currently waiting for feedback on. Only a few people will be able to apply them and I'm waiting on them to arrive, they sound amazing!

I watched the vid of the hydro 2 stuff. Just disgusting how one spay and zero effort made the water hate the paintwork!!!! i need to invest but have seriously kicked my accounts recently and am raising eyebrows in home for spending more on cleaning gear for car than on treating her who must be obeyed. Need to set up a po box up for deliveries and snide accounts on eBay and monza etc. So she won't suss out. Any idea of pricing of this miracle gear geezer?

Check out my friend Jon's website - cleanandshiny.co.uk all Fireball products will be sold from his business. I'm waiting for the detailer only coatings that Fireball will release they are going to be awesome.

I think it's Easycoat by Fireball that you spray on when wet and rinse off for mental beading.

Sonax BSD is a fantastic QD, beads like crazy.

Going cheap at ECP too
