Washed the car this morning. We should call this the "using things up wash" as I used the last of the snow foam and the shampoo is running low. No matter, order with Juicy Jen is in! :)

Used:
- VP pH Neutral Snow Foam
- Dodo Basics of Bling Shampoo
- Microfibre noodle wash mitt
- AG Aqua Wax

What surprised me most is the beading from the AG Aqua Wax. I use this in the winter as a drying aid/quick top up. The car was last waxed in April with AG HD wax (see my 2nd DA thread). The British weather did its usual thing and we had torrential rain and thunder 2 hours after I finished the car. The AG Aqua Wax gave good beading. I'm holding off applying any new waxes as I have a Dodo Blue Velvet Pro panel pot coming from Jen so want to try it.

Anyway, the pics...

LOL, I'm so so glad I joined ASN, I've now realised that when I used to polish my car and start masturbating over the pattern of the 'bubbles the rain made' (now I know is called 'beading') I was certainly not the only one getting excited by it, thus not making me as sad as my misses kept telling me I was. Since realising there is a massive market for all this detailing lark and being on the cusp of shelling out £100 on some equipment to start my new detailing hobby.... My misses aint gonna know what hit her! neither is she gonna know how much the stuff is costing me....lol, I reckon she'd send me to the doctors if she found out!
Also LOL @ 'almost pornographic'!!!!

Don't worry Jen, I've already checked out your website, will probably be purchasing after I use my first £100's worth....lol

Have just stumbled on Juicy Jen's website and am now off to order something!

Man....Looks like you could eat your dinner off that!

Awww, makes me a touch sad. The car's been a bit neglected recently. I kerbed one of the alloys so need to get that sorted. I haven't had much chance to get out there and clean her. Fortunately she had a pre-winter spruce up with fresh wax layers so it's nothing that can't be sorted. Just need a little time.

I have new stuff to try, Valet Pro Citrus Pre Wash being the main one. I've not been that impressed with snow foam so am looking for different angles. Pre-wash followed by pressure wash rinse seems like something to try (based on more DW reading). I don't have much free time so need to make products work for me. Plus I'm happy to chop and change stuff, see what works, see what doesn't. It's a bit of fun really. :)

Lol, as long as the knives/forks/plates were made of lambswool!

I'm afraid Luke I'm still using my microfibre noodle wash mitt which came from a well known supermarket beginning with "T". For all the detailing gear I have, I've never had a problem with the mitt scratching the paint. So, happy to stick with it. :) I do wash it after every use.
