Hi, my 2008 R8 has developed a whine on over-run. My local Audi main dealer has taken a look and they inform me that the whine is coming from the from diff and there is no remedy other than replacing the diff at enormous cost. As the car has only just done 16.500 miles I am alarmed that such an important component in the drive-chain has such a short life and was wondering whether anyone else has experienced a similar problem or may be able to suggest a way of resolving this.
