I have a 2004 A3 8P 1.9 TDi, the radiator fan (larger one) was staying on, drained my battery. A common problem on here it seems.
Had new switch and sensor, no joy.
The garage has been trying to get a replacement fans and frame from a scrappy but no joy. They found some that come from similar cars but don't fit.
The part number is 1K0.121.207M I've found a few on eBay and online part shops, but none with the M at the end, AA T D E, will any of these fit if the 1K0.121.207 part of the number matches? Or would I be better off just changing the one larger fan and refitting my original frame?
Currently the fans and frame are in the boot, they said its cold enough not to worry, but i have no turbo and revs bounce after 2k+, so like to fix this WAY before the summer.
