Hi all
I will be retrofitting cruise control when i get round to buying some parts, but i have a concern about the radio as i dont have the code for it.
Can someone advise me on what will happen to my rns-e once the battery has been disconnected and what my options are?

The unit should mknow that its in the right car and not ask for a code.

why are you takeing the batt off to fit cruise ?

Probably because he needs to disconnect the airbag. I always disconnect the battery before messin with anything like that.

iv never disconnected the batt to remove the bag
key off no power to it

ye its for the airbag. do you not think ill need to disconnect it? its just everywhere I've read said do so..
I can do without any disasters, already hit a pigeon this morning and scratched the paint on the bonnet, poor bonnet!!

no power goes to the bag when the IGG is off
