Ram Air Pleated Air Filter

Has anyone replaced the standard Air Filter with a Ram Air Pleated Air Filter??
Just wondering if anyone has and has it made a difference and worth the £40
My car is a 2009 A5 2.0 TDi which has had a stage 1 map
