Rattling Window

Hi

I've recently developed a rattle on the offside rear window. It's not electric. When I wind it down about 1/4 inch the rattle goes. Yesterday it was better and it was much milder so I am assuming that the cold weather has caused the window 'housing' to shrink a little and cause this rattle. It became quite bad.

I've heard there is a silicon spray that can be used to stop such rattles.

Any thoughts/ideas much appreciated.

The spray is for squeaks & screeches, it ain't gonna cure a rattle.
You'd need to take the door card off and have a look inside
Probably just needs a bit of rubber or Dynamat wedged in somewhere, or maybe the frame assembly has worked loose.
