Really need an s3 plastic battery cover can anybody help? thanks

can anybody help please,i have snapped my plastic battery cover on my 2002 s3 and the engine bay looks awful,i really need a replacement but audi are far 2 expensive many thanks

I didn't think the Audi ones were that much?

you wont get one..... i waited for ages, finally bit the bullet and bought one from the dealer, i needed the whole battery cage and tray which all needed rivetting together..... the lid and all the extras cost just over £100 IIRC

Cost over £100 !!!

Take the cover inside to the parts guys and show them what you want, there is a sort of a part number on it and then they will give you what you want

the cover has actually snapped at all 4 corners unfortunately

yes over £100, although i paid trade via someone i know who gets 'proper' trade @ Audi..... that said you can buy the lid seperately for £30-40 IIRC
