Rear fog light not working.

Good morning on this wet and miserable morning. To top it off, got the mot today. New bulb for the rear fog, checked the fuses still no joy.
Any ideas to cheer me up.??

I'm assuming that you know that the Audi A4 only has one rear fog light? It's on the drivers side, not passengers side.

Early B6s could be easily modified (I did my 2003 B6 S4 after my neighbour kept telling me I had a blown bulb) to add a bulb on the nearside as well (just add a wire), but on later ones Audi didn't fit a bulb holder (it was like that on my 2005 B6 S4).
