So I've just taking off my rear passenger door window trim, at the top of the door.
The dechrome I did was pretty poor quality so decided to rewrap it myself. Saw a few videos where the trim pops off so is easier to wrap than leaving on the car, sure enough it did and it was.
However when putting it back on it doesn't quite sit flush with the rubbers. It's the type of thing that I would never have noticed if it was like that when I got the car so not a major deal. Just wondered if anyone else has tried this and had the same issue or indeed managed to get a perfect fit.
Or am I right in thinking it's just one of those parts that once removed will never be 100% as it was from the factory?
Easiest way I can describe it is that it now sits on top of the rubber at the bottom rather than flush with it.
