Hi all,

Was just wondering if anyone has spray painted their brake callipers and if theres a removable version out there. I found some removable spray paint for the alloys but cant find it for the callipers :/

Why removable? Or are you planning to change your calliper colour to match your wardrobe?

If your talking about plasti dip. I wouldn't bother with it either on wheels or calipers.
Can be a huge pain to remove from wheels and bodywork and the heat in calipers would just melt it

Just spray them back silver once you're done? I highly doubt a garage would take the wheels off and scrape back the calipers to see if they had been painted

Yeah, might try that actually, still trying to think whether spray painting my wheels black and brake callipers red would suit my car.. any opinions?

I would leave the wheels and calipers only my opinion though. Paint them with hamerite they used to say, then watch it melt off another day and cover your wheels. Lovely finish that leaves :)

Black on black always goes well, the red would break it up nicely as well. Lowering also makes it look much better

I've painted lots of callipers with Smoothrite and it does NOT come off if the parts were cleaned beforehand. No way will it burn off.......

Painting calipers red then back to silver is probably the best option and should not be too costly.

If your thinking of painting alloys black from a garage/alloy specialist it will cost you £250 minimum and then i guess youl need them painted back silver when returning to the lease company. Might be worth looking into buying a new set of alloys that you can take off and sell once the car goes Back. If you paint them yourself then might work out ok.
