The A3 will be our everyday car instead of being parked in the garage, it is making way for the new toy which i am picking up tomorrow.

As the A3 is going to be used more often i have got some new painted wing mirror covers to replace the genuine S3 mirror covers i have on now, the amount of stories of people having them nicked is too risky and too much of a worry for me. Its a bitch not being able to have what you have earned without some git nicking them!

Therefore can anyone tell me what the best way of removing the covers? Do the mirror glass need to be removed first?

Also how much is a mint pair of genuine S3 silver mirrors worth nowadays?

You have a PM Robin, send me your email and ill send over the PDF's I dont want to post the info on here

Also can i have first chance at the mirror casings please

Matt

doesnt anyone on here search anymore ?

I thought they were just an outer casing?

I changed my MK IV Golf ones and they just unclipped as I recall, but often the little lugs break off so have to be careful
