It has to come from Audi. When you take your car to a dealer they hook it up to the Audi system in Germany and downloads the correct software packages for your vehicle based on the options installed.
OK, so the dealer is saying your car and option combination is already on the latest version of MMI then. I have seen horror stories in the US of owners obtaining MMI updates that are incompatible and completely trashing the system - no way back with the only solution being new hardware. There is an old engineering adage that has stood the test of time:
"If it ain't broke then don't fix it" I'm oh so guilty of this one....
