Hi Guys

Looking to get a vitural cockpit installed on my Audi RS3.

Just wondering if anyone has done this and if so what was the overall cost involved

I would think seriously about if you reckon it's worth it. A few people, including Aoon, reckon you'll soon get bored of it. I personally prefer the standard dials which look lovely during night driving.

I'd go for a VC if it was like the R8/TT, but having half and half does nothing for me.

Much prefer the analog dials, keep the virtual tech for computer games.

All personal presence isn’t it, I’ve had vc in my last 2 Audi’s and love it. I’d always chose an analog watch over digital though.

The VC to me adds to the cabin and just gives a bit more functionally.

VC can be installed by cutting the dash. This is cheaper I understand but open to issues. Such that VagCarCoding stopped offering it.

The proper way is to replace the dash with the new one. That’s where the expense is.

Also note that the MMI is newer on the FL and if you want that functionality you are talking mega money to upgrade.

I’ve made the same retrofit, but I can’t coding the vc for rs3, only with 2 gauges as a3! You can help me with coding?
