Retro fitting an 8v FBMFSW to an 8p???

Hi,
Does anybody know if you can do this, I'm looking to fit an 2016 (8v) FBMFSW too a 2005 (8p)
I know I need the slip ring and module (as mine isn't a MFSW to start with and know it can be done, just not if they change size after 2013. Any conformation on this would be great Thanks for any help

Can’t be done. You have to get a wheel which is the same design as the 8v wheel but from an A4 or A5, it has slightly different buttons but it looks the same.
Then the airbag connector has to be repinned to work on your A3.
