Facelift Retrofit armrest cup holders

Hey all, I’ve chosen not to buy the storage pack for my new A4 as it would top me into the premium car tax bracket.

Has anyone retrofitted the cup holders or do you expect this to be an easy task to get the parts and fit? It will be MY2021 saloon.

Yeah in the rear. I thought they were standard but it seems the car I got to look around had the storage pack

Yes they aren't standard, I think someone looked at fitting the armrest before and it wasn't cheap..

I wanted to do it - you can't retrofit the cup holders per say, you need a whole new arm rest.

Thanks. So I guess cost for a new armrest with them built in or maybe a breakers yard.

I guess you have a folding arm rest, otherwise it would be all the seat backs replaced. Yes breakers or fleabay is your best bet. Have a look also in the audiworld forum, as them across the pond seem to love modding their A4's, might give some instructions..
