Facelift Retrofit speedometer A5 into A4

Hi,
I was wondering if it is possible to swap my monochrome DIS (small screen) from my A4 B9 2.0tdi to a A5 B9 2.0 tfsi colour (not VC) being the same platform B9, same manual transmission but donor being petrol and mine diesel.
Can it be done or is there any incompatibility with that.? I mean besides to fit a FOC, remove CP and set the mileage.

I suppose in theory its possible but wouldn't the tachometer be wrong between the diesel and petrol variants?
You'd never reach the redline that's for sure

Well, i did decide to go for it and at first glance it seems work despite it needs cp removal. Regarding the tachometer, seems to me is working right and for sire never will be on the red zone
You can see it working on the video
