Not too sure whether this is a stupid question or not, but if I connect the SPS switch to my computer via USB and set to communication mode - would I be able to use this setup with VAGCOM for diagnosis?

1st it would depend what revo had setup the comm mode as, so I wouldnt do anything until they confirm & I doubt it would work with vcds tbh, if the comm mode supported basic say vcds lite like a dumb dongle, maybe, but I dont know what would happen to the dongle & also what it may do to the car, until you know specifics of comm mode from revo, I would not attempt unless you're happy to try & accept any consequences.
