Just bought 2008 A4 s line 3.0l tdi quattro (exclusive edition ).
It has the navigation plus unit that tilts up to insert sd cards.
My question is about the tv
What do I need to make this analogue unit work with digital signal please?
Secondly. Why can't I get sd card readers to read 32gb sdhc cards? I was told that I can only use standard 4gb sd cards is this true?

They can’t read that type of sd cards..

4GB is the max on the MK1 unit CD/TV button
32GB SDHC on the MK2 unit MEDIA button

What do you mean by digital?

It’s to to with the type of SD card. The RNSE can’t read SDXC or SDHC cards, which is the type used for any capacity over 2GB.

It’s like asking a CD player to read a Blu-Ray. They look the same, feel the same, but won’t work together.

I mean opposite of analogue. When these came out the I presume they worked on old analogue system . Just spoke to place that can do the job I think by adding a digital adaptor or something but I'd prefer to have a go myself as have vcds etc anyway and handy with tools etc

They don’t have tv separately.
You install a module and have an tv receiver connected. These needs to be digital today.
At least in my country.
Tv signals are no longer analouge

It has tv receiver already. Need to know what I NEED specifically

I have the Kufatec IMA, and had a tv receiver and DVD player connected.. And RVC..

Now just the RVC, but that was because I never used the two others

Then you need vcds to free the signal for driving. Or else it will only work when cars isn’t moving
