RS3 P8 or S3 V8 ...

Hi all,

Been a while but glad to be back in the Audi camp...well almost.

I am having a hard time deciding between the RS3 P8 or the a 2013 S3 V8..

Always loved the RS model...wider fenders ect..all options...

The new S3 looks...kinda plain...i do not have the car and already looking for grilles/wheels...i am the kinda guy that needs to buy something and keep it.

Price range i got two on sight that are the same.

RS fully original

S3 original, no leather seats or audio system...it is a smokers car also..., but manual..

Maybe the fuel consumption would be a huge difference between them...not to sure with the automatic gearbox on the RS...i do know it is all about your heavy right foot or not...but normal use...

Anyone got any tips, would be well appreciated.

Test drive both, and you'll walk away with the RS. The 5 pot engine is what makes it special, however keep in mind the price of an extended warranty which imo is essential for the RS.

With the RS it'll keep it's value more than the S3 aswell.

Why have a scabby sirlion when you can have prime fillet!

8P RS3, no doubt: 5-years of ownership now and mine is still a keeper...

Why would you not want an 8P Audi RS3?

The day after seeing the advert I was sat outside the sellers some 15-minutes before they opened and a week later it was in my garage and 5-years later still is...

I would be of the same opinion - looking to possibly change my car next year and the top two contenders are the 8V S3 and 8P RS3

I had a stage2+ S3 - loved that car and had it for 5 years

I now drive a stage 1 Scirocco R and miss the 4wd big time
