So my mate at Audi was meant to lend me the new RS for a day and when I asked him about it he has said that it has been recalled due to oil getting into the engine.

Obviously not the right oil getting in there.

Not a good start eh!

Oil feed pipe aparanty ,was hoping for a test drive this week ..

Hopefully nothing major but not a great start though

Supposed to be driving one tomorrow.........

Don't think that's going to happen. Surprised they haven't contacted you.

Disappointing if I'm going to be honest.

Had a go in the new TTS too and it's far more enjoyable to drive, despite being down on power.

Better to see these issues on the demonstrators and know they should be sorted when our cars get delivered

Yep, I couldn't test drive one last Saturday for same reason. I guess it would cause a catrostrophic engine failure

They have fixed the one I was meant to drive on Saturday. Its ready now :)

Hopefully will be a quick fix. I still think I'd rather tune my S3. Only thing with the RS is the amazing sound, worth an extra 6k? Prob not!

The problem actually turned out to be an incorrect value resistance in the oil pressure sensor, giving false readings and logging fault codes, when no faults existed.
