Facelift RS3 stage 2 intake advice

I'm contemplating getting the Revo carbon fibre intake and I'm currently running the Forge intake wrapped in the gold heat tape with the Revo turbo elbow and stock air box. Basically I'm asking is the carbon fibre intake gonna be much better at resisting heat than the tapped up forge pipe I'm using? I'm just trying to reduce heat soak.

No it will be no existent the only benefit will be in your pocket by not buying it.
