RS4 alloys problem!

Ive decided on a set of RS4 reps for my a4 avant, but the problem im having is tyre width currently im on 18" sline alloys which are 235 wide im unsure of the offset. All the reps im looking at come with 225 width does this mean the alloys are smaller in width than original equipment? Will they sit correctly in the arches im a bit loathed to spend a few hundred pounds on wheels and tyres that dont sit in the arches correctly. Any help will be much appreciated or advice on the best place to buy the correct fitment from.

the offset of the reps should be ok and sit ok in the arches, its just that there not as wide, lets say that your rims are a 8.5j and the reps would be a 8j and then compensated by a different offset.

You should check but you can more than likely put 235's on instead
