RS4 to R8??

I have just inherited a few K and am seriously wondering about buying an R8 ...always rather fancied one and as we have other more practical cars now could be the time. The 7 month old RS4 would have to go but seems to be worth £57/58K .. Any advice? New/nearly new running costs? V10 obviously.. Is 620 performance the way to go. Is it a money pit? Just considering options currently and clearly don't want to do anything stupid. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance. RG

That's my thinking. Looking at nearly new V10 performance. Been offered £55.5 for RS4 but a test drive will confirm either way in a week or so. Drove a V8 10 years ago and loved it and swore I would have one one day. Really looking for real life experiences from others and possible options. Good relationship with local dealer but no cars at present.
