rsap support withdrawn for Connect?

Just taken delivery of new Saloon with Tech pack high. All instructions refer to using remote sim access for Connect, but options dont appear in menu. Have read that it should work with HTC One M8.
Also saw one reference saying Audi rsap support is being withdrawn.
Anyone know?

Thanks for that. I had searched but there were so many hits..but then there does seem to have been a huge amount if discussion....
What gets me is that if its been unsupported since 2013, why does my 2015 version of the handbook still explain how to use remote sim, not to mention Audi online? Updating the website would be simple.

There is directions on the TT forum on how to set it up, I had it working on my 2015 TT using an iPhone 6S which Audi will tell you is not possible.

I am not sure if the setup would be the same on an S3 but it's worth a try.
