Both rear coil springs snapped on 57 plate 85k miles, one side stting about an inch lower atm.
OEM is is sachs I believe. £140/pair at euro.
S-line is probably different length to standard is it?
Anyone bought these recently at a good price?

Trying to get a quote to fit these. Does anyone know the book time.
I guess, being quattro its a bigger job?

If you find someone with the correct type of spring compressor, like this - https://www.toolstoday.co.uk/sykes-...MI8vGai8mq8AIVD7_tCh0Ngg2gEAQYCCABEgJ7gfD_BwE

They are relatively easy to do, minimal disassembly required on a FWD, not sure if 4WD is much different.

Trying to do it with normal clamp type spring compressors is a right royal pain IMO.

With above spring compressor which I’ve got take bottom shocker bolt out to give you a bit more flex approx 30-45 mins per side can do it with wheel on car just watch the bottom plastic guard that keeps the dirt out of the bottom of the spring

Have you got oem number, some sites dont seem to differentiate between standard and s-line model.
Or do you know spring length, 2008 cab s-line quattro 3.0, rear spring?
Thanks

You will probably find in the aftermarket that there is only a handful of different springs to suit the intended application.

Got to Audi/TPS for genuine and there will be different springs depending on the car being petrol/diesel, FWD/4WD, saloon/avant, etc, etc.

Get some H&R springs to upgrade. Eibach don't do them for a quattro, but I paid about £150 for the set of 4.
Don't bother with S line springs they're awful.
