S Tronic foot rest - ?

OK I'm 5 foot 10 inch, I have my seat set normally (wrist on the steering wheel job) so why do I find the footrest totally useless?

On a long drive my left ankle starts to ache like mad now.

Has anyone done a mod to make it useable or is it just me?

Well that does it then I'm off to the doctors to get my left leg checked out.

I must be abnormal.

I use to find I got a sore left leg, the transmission eats into the driver footwell so it's impossible to drive with your left leg straight. My car is great but this is the one thing I wish I could change. I've got use to it now.
