Hi
I am new in these forums and also a fresh Audi owner.
I have bought myself an A4 140kW 2.0TFSI 2015 (the very early B9) with automatic gearbox and 75000km on the clock. Just recently I noticed that there is a buzzing sound whenever I switch from or to drive (D). I managed to record it and have shared it in Google drive in following link. .
Is it normal to make such sound? I know that gearbox was serviced at Audi at around 55000km, but only 4L oil was used, so it for sure was not a dynamic S-Tronic oil change/service.
Should I be worried?
Also had this happen once, maybe these are related:
One cold morning I had the following situation: I unlocked my car and somehow car thought it was on neutral "Shift to P otherwise vehicle can roll away. Doors do not lock if lever is not in P." A moment later when ignition was turned on I think: Yellow warning sign and "Vehicle may roll away! P cannot be selected. Please apply parking brake". And a moment later "Gearbox malfunction! Please stop the vehicle and select P". So I turned vehicle off, switched to P, turned ignition off and on and voila all started working again. It was around -2C outside and it hasn't happened since, even though several -2C mornings have been since then.
any similar experiences to share with me and what should I do next?
Erik
