S tronic Sound

Hey guys !
When selecting R from P or when going getting to a standstill from driving the car has kind of a shock or a small clunk noise.
Is this happening to you as well ? I haven t heard of this problem before.
It happens quite rarely. Maybe 1 out of 20-30 times when selecting R and when stopping to a halt maybe even less frequently.

I’ve got the same thing. Didn’t really pay too much attention to it as s-tronics are quite clunky and jerky by nature.

I ve heard that it might be a problem with the transmission if that happens. If you find something let me know please

I get this if I put it into park and let the car roll until it locks with out putting hand brake on. Never happens if I engage hand brake before taking foot off brake

It's not a problem it's just a characteristic of the gearbox

Is it usually on a slight incline, as Toon states it does this then too.

You can put it into neutral then handbrake on then turn car off, So that it’s not resting on park/gearbox.
Happens on incline as everyone mentioned.
