Just had my wife's S1 in for its 40k service at a local garage. They attempted to change the plugs but couldn't get the coil packs off. The lower rubber section is stuck on the plug and they were worried if they pulled any harder they would damage the coil pack.
On return I've had a go and can move them about 10mm, but they won't release. I've fed some wd40 down and hope that will work some magic.
Do I just need to man up and pull harder?
The car is still on its original plugs with no miss fire, so it isn't a problem just yet.
Any help grate fully received.
