S3 8L Windscreen top rubber

Hi all again,
The rubber at the top of the windscreen in between the glass and roof is looking a little worse for wear so I’d like to replace it,is it a simple case of take it out and put a new one in subject to availability?,will it be a main dealer part or will TPS have them?,thanks in advance,Paul

The rubber I’m after is the highlighted one in the picture

I got one from my local audi dealer about 3 months ago. They got it from TPS and was the last one they had in the UK apparently.
Audi tradition have them but won't deliver ro Northern Ireland or GB for the foreseeable future because of Brexit.
I asked a few breakers at the start and they said they never come out good enough to reuse.
I got the lower rubber from a polish site I'll have a look for the site and put it up here and you can see if they have the one you need.

Thanks for the info but I managed to source one on eBay from Latvia hopefully it’ll be here in about a week,

Hi,unfortunately it is and the big concern is can they get the glass out without breaking it!!,i’ve had some quotes for the job including a new screen if it broke and without but it’s not high on my priorities at the moment,I just wanted to source a rubber for when I did get round to it
