S3 8P air con issue

Hi all, so I recently purchased an S3 8p 2009. And when pressing the AC button it goes red and then turns off straight away. Is there any common problems with them or things to check? The condesor looks tired so I will be replacing that anyway over the next week, and was going to just try and gas it up anyway.

Probably gas.

could do with scanning to see if there are any fault codes. You can also then see what the pressures are like.

All sorted. Replace with a new condenser and gassed back up, good as new.
