S3 aluminium footrest

Should my 2011 S3 have had a aluminum footrest to match the pedals?
It is s-tronic so not sure if that would make a difference or not.
Any heads up gratefully appreciated

No the alloy footrest is just an add on people do.

I like that one, but it only states S3 DSG up to 2008, mine is a 2011 so I guess they might have changed the design.
I'll drop them guys a note to see what they say.

(The RS pedal set in my S4 was £150 so the price isn't too bad!)

Cheers Muzza......that's another £20+ spent on the car.
(I think that takes it to around £1,300 in the first 6 weeks of ownership)

I have the plain version from Creation motor sport that matches the rest of the pedals and did not want the S3 logo.
Regarding installation, I did not want to use the bolts and so bought sticky pads from Hobby craft. Peel off the backing paper from the footrest and then use your finger to rub off the sticky backing that actually sticks to nothing!
Then apply suitably placed sticky pads and push it onto the plastic foot pad. I would rather see the holes in the foot rest than drill holes into plastic underneath. Doing it this way means that if you want to remove it then no nasty holes are left behind
