S3 Front Outer CV Joint

Good Morning,

Has anyone got any preferences or recommendations for a Front Outer CV Joint?

Audi are expensive and looking about my options seem to be Q-Drive or GKN from either ECP or GSF, or J&R Joint from themselves.

Doing some research it seems the GKN joint is the one to go for.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

i tried to get one off euro car parts and GSF and everyone they got was wrong, the Audi one wasn`t too bad a price imo for a full kit that just was right

I've ordered the GKN joint kit from ECP.

Fingers crossed it's right. Only replacing due to threads for hub nut have been cross-threaded. Found this out at weekend after replacing Inner CV Boot.... Lol

they supplied me with one off a Quattro , totally different fitment they tried 3 times and failed every time. fingers crossed for you

also there is a special tool to clamp up the clip correctly which is v useful
