S3 - Strange brake noise

Hi,

There has been a strange noise - almost like a clicking noise ( or like " tuk" ) when I brake at slow speed (parking speed) only. This noise only happens some times and not all the time. Today was the first time I was able to replicate the noise. This is not the balls from the back board.

Anyone experience a similar problem? The brakes work 100% fine. Just annoying.

Is it when you brake for the first time after reversing?

If so the pads will locate different and make a noise when braking from travelling forwards and braking to reversing and braking and vice versa.

My brembos used to do this really bad!

Yap, in reverse it happends all the time, when parking. But last friday, in traffic, it was making a some noise when I pressed the brake pedal less smoothly. That's not going to be admissable in a 50000 euro car...
