S4 Avant weight

Does anyone know the weight of a top spec s4 avant please,or is there a sticker somewhere on the car from the factory giving the weight.I'm sure on another model it was in the boot area but i cant see it on this one.thanks Andy.

Isn't a car's kerb weight quoted on the V5?

I think it's 1725kg or something off the top of my head.

My car has a high spec early B8 Avant S-Tronic and it says 1924kg on the V5 (****** hell!) Still gets the advertised 0-60 though (checked through VCDS a few months ago).

Presumably, though, that's the standard weights before options. The info on the V5 is vehicle-specific.

I had a look at the V5 for my car and it's 1797Kg Unladen. The Handbook shows the kerb weight unladen for a 3.0 TDI Avant as 1695Kg so 100Kg less. I have actually had the car weighed at a sprint event on proper calibrated race car scales and it weighed 1816Kg with me in it and 1/8th tank of fuel. Deducting my weight and adding the weight of the bits I took out of the car, rear seats, spare wheel etc 1797Kg is pretty close to what it actually weighs and a lot closer than 1695Kg which must be for a very stripped down light car.
Do they actually weigh the vechicles when they are registered then ?
