Help Please S4 DSG gearknob

Does anyone have for sake or know where I can get an S4 DSG gearknob like the one in this link for sensible money

I can find STronic gearknobs for resonble money but never seen a replacement S4 badge for the top sold on its own

Don't think you can actually buy just the badge for the top of the gear knob, never seen one, only the complete gear knob.

And yes, @jdp1962 is correct. The S4 gear knob is quite expensive.

Best bet is to trawl through ebay in the hope for a decent priced second hand one.

I think you need to bend the shaft at the top of the gear stick 90 degrees to allow for the button.

I've been looking for one of these for a while, just can't bring myself to part with that much cash just for a lump of plastic!

Correct the plastic shaft needs to be modified to accept a forward facing button. Here's a link to the guide
