Can the sill covers on the s4 be removed esily enough to paint?
mine are in need of attention and wondered if it would be better taking them off to be painted more easily
Does the black inner door sill with the ali s4 logo also need to be removed?
these are stuck on are they not?
thanks

bottom is held on by screw caps onto threaded posts.
End cap are held on by little screw on the leading and trailing edge.
inner sill that you look down on is held on with VERY strong velcro (if original)

very inner bit with logo is also stuck on.

heat gun and lots of patience if you don;t want to bend them

dis how bad are they? would you not be better getting them sprayed on, to save risk of knackering the inner kick sills up

They are quite badly scuffed where you get in and out of the car, this cant be seen when the doors are shut, but as i am getting some paintwork done on the car anyway thought they would be better done off the car to be done properly.
The only way i can see to get these done on the car is to jack car up about a foot (as its lower than a hamsters ball bag) and take all doors off!!!
I know that taking the doors off isnt to much of a problem as that was how I did my 1.8tq avant but that did not have cover sills.

Incase I feck em up, Any idea how much new kick panels are from audi, I take it they are one piece?

don't know but would be interested, mine are shagged

your blue one was on its **** to! lol, used to come past your house regular, friend of mine lived on your estate, probably saw my white fiesta turbo, or green fiesta knocking about, or the escort cossie cab
