So i bought my audi s5 (2009) from a main audi dealership (leeds) 2 weeks ago. Today i have a warning light telling me my oil level is too high.

Theres no dipstick (which is a pain in the **** as i always want to check it the foolproof way). What do you suggest i do? Keep driving it and maybe burn off abit of oil? Or take it straight back to audi? And would it damage my engine being slightly too high. Just seems strange that the warning has only come on after 2 weeks of buying it.

Any info welcome. Thanks

Does seem strange. As the MMI reads the oil level there is a chance it's slightly misreading, but I would personally take it back to the dealers (or call them to check). Risk is if you don't and something goes wrong they will tell you that you should have acted immediately (then move to void any warranty knowing them!). Safe to check.

Please can you let me know what Audi say because mine says the same thing every now an then.
