Hi

Any help will be greatly appreciated, purchased a two year old Audi from main dealer, one of the must have tools was Satnav, collected last Friday after three times being told it has Satnav to find on the way home it has not been activated, contacted the dealer to be told that's right and it will cost £761.00

A couple of question is this standard practise of Audi dealer and what options do I have ??? paying or sending the car back covered under the thirty day rule.

regards

I'm not an expert so I'll stand corrected if my input isn't quite right.

As far as I am aware, because built in sat navs have constant updates, they require a subscription which doesn't transfer with ownership. Therefore, when you purchase a second hand vehicle the system has to be re-registered. The costs involved are extortionate.
