Hi all.
I have a 59 2.0t s line a4 with the bang and olufsen symphony stereo.
My question is, what is the maximum storage size of SD card I can use?

I'm viewing on an iphone using tapatalk. I have 4 photos for 4 forums. Try saying that when your ******!!

Does ur has 2 slot for sd or one as rnse got 2 slot so 16gb each I believe but heard say 32gb in u can get sd fair cheap off amazon or ebay

Is there a particular program I should use? Will the head unit see an album name and then split into the sub-folders for the track names?

Yeah if you use pc or laptop just rip it off window media and it name will show up and show show when playing in car

Make sure the copyright it tick off otherwise it wont play in ur car

Should be 32gb as b7 is 32gb
The factory fitted RNS-E in the B7 only accepts SD cards not SDHC cards, so the maximum capacity is 4GB.

Only if you upgrade to the 2010+ RNS-E (and swap the faceplate so it will fit) can you use SDHC cards, which do go up to 32GB.

That is what I thought, and I have the RNS-E. In reality, standard SD cards were only widely available in up to 2GB, and only rarely can you find a 4GB standard SD card.

It is starting to get harder to find standard SD cards for a sensible price (ie £1-2 per GB, so under £5 for a 2GB) - so pick a few up if ever you see them.

Worst case, try Computer Exchange for secondhand cards:

1GB for £2.50 - https://uk.webuy.com/product.php?sku=SMEMDDAA
2GB for £4 - https://uk.webuy.com/product.php?sku=SMEMSD9

There are plenty of suppliers out there doing 4Gb standard cards, just got to look. I purchased a pack of 10 last time round.
