bought a C4 S4 recetly
missed my old 1996 S6 Avant I owned for a couple of years I guess

love the way it is the ultimate understatement car
good for shopping, hollidays and trackdays alike

belgium based
got the car i Germany
sits on 17inch OZ Ultrleggera rims, discreet, fits the car, era correct so no 20 inch monstruous rims for me
Eibach lowered
full leather
sunroof
and has the Bose sound system

trouble is it has the damn UFO brakes too
discs are due to replce and calipers needs refurvishing so I am looking to get rid of the UFO discs altogether

I know solutions exist
I just don't know which
should be bolt on and 17 inch rims have to still fit over the calipers

any suggestions?

found out you have to switch suspension arm to change brake system at the front
arms need to come from a S6C4

but I found a specialised firm in Germany which is working at a solution to keep the original suspension arms and just change discs and calipers
should be ready this september so I will sit and wait till then
